Hello there, thank you for your question. The bookmarks are printed on our non-woven fabric which is fairly stiff. It is a white bonded material that is flat and makes painting on it very easy. The paint is absorbed into the fibres, dries very quickly and is permanent. You can laminate the bookmarks after painting them, if you desire and add a tassle or some colourful ribbon. Regards Jenny

No, we print the design and shading in brown/black ink and leave all the colouring to the customer. We have painted them just to show you how they can look, once coloured. You can paint them in the colours of your choice. Most items come with a chart to show you where to put each colour except for the bookmarks where we leave it up to your own imagination or you can use the coloured photo online/in catalogue to use as a guide.
